Economies for people, not profit! Workshop
Worried about economic uncertainty? Concerned that the rich get richer and poor get poorer. Do you wish that there were economic solutions that can benefit people, communities and businesses fairly? This free workshop will address the challenges with our economic system and present a variety options equitable options for the future that grows wealth in our community. The workshop will highlight successful examples in New Zealand.

10am - 12pm
A facilitated workshop/conversation with Bryan & Jo Innes from Living Economies on new economic approaches including timebanks, local currencies, savings pools, and land trusts
12pm - 1pm
Potluck lunch.
1pm - 3pm
Optional extra session to further explore action plan for Whāingaroa. Participants are invited to stay and explore topics of their interest or participate in a savings pool game. Bryan & Jo will facilitate.
